Tomas Jansson

Ok… so I have my blog, and I have my “about”-page. Maybe I should put some real content here then.

Who am I? My name is Tomas Jansson and that has always been my name… part of my good looking face can be seen to the right. I’m currently living in Oslo, Norway, but grew up mainly in Gothenburg, Sweden. I was born in the early 80s, as many of today’s brilliant young minds :), in Bålsta outside of Stockholm, Sweden. I am a big fan of good music… that is, not bad music like techno and house. Here in Oslo I joined the floorball team Oslos Beste Vest since that is what I have grown up with basically.. and football.

What do I do for work? I am IT-consultant, mainly focused on the .Net-platform but I have also been involved in projects based on the java platform as well as SAS Instititue and SAP projects. I am currently working as a Senior Consultant in the Technology Division at BEKK AS here in Oslo.

Why did I decide to create this blog? This will be my attempt to contribute to the world, not only the .Net-world but also the world in general. I do not know exactly what I will write here, but it will be some .Net-posts for sure but it could also be posts about life in general. The blog will hopefully be some kind of memory for me as well… in this way I can write down how I solved a specific problem that I have encountered in .Net, asp.net, mvc, javascript or any other technical problem.
